Really looking forward to two shows in Central Oregon!
Thursday 7/30, we will be assisting Mathew Cowan of OHS with the Glass Lantern Slide Pictorial History of Oregon! This is a classic presentation, reading from the original 1930s (?) script. We have done this show twice in Portland, once in Astoria – and now we’re coming to the Des Chutes Historical Museum in Bend! Matthew has added some “new” slides, specific to the region – so this will surely be one not to miss. The show begins at 6:30pm, and it is FREE! More details here.
Saturday, 8/1 finds DKC in the Tap Room of the Deschutes Brewery Bend Public House giving a Kick Ass Oregon History talk on WW2 in Oregon! The program begins at 7:00pm, and it is FREE. Enjoy a burger and a beer and get a double helping of Oregon History!! More details on this show here.
