Portland Treasure Chart Field Trip

August 9, 2015 @ 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM

  • « KAOH Night in Bend!
  • Burnside Vice – Jack London Bar »

Have you checked out our latest podcast? It’s all about the storied Portland Treasure Chart and some of the latest theories on this treasure horde. JB Fisher, Kelly Hatmaker and I have been looking into it, based on some ideas that JB had. And we’d like to share them with you!

On Sunday, August 9th, at 1:00pm, we will meet on the Park Blocks in front of the Oregon Historical Society (1200 SW Park)  The Resident Historian will chat WP_20150613_11_22_58_Proabout the history of the Treasure Chart. Then, everyone will get in their own cars and we will caravan to the Pike Cemetery, just outside of Yamhill (about 48 miles, not 2, from[rom] Portland). Once we meet at the cemetery, JB Fisher and Kelly Hatmaker will tell you why they think that this is the cemetery detailed in the Portland Treasure Chart. There are hella old graves in the cemetery, so we will have supplies for you to do grave stone rubbings. Oh – and we’ll have some cold beers too!

All of this is for just $10 – but remember – you drive yourself – NO TRANSPORTATION INCLUDED.

Our last field trip sold out in just 36 hours – so I’d recommend getting your tickets soon! We are going to limit this filed trip to 25. So drop the shakes and the stinky candles – the laundry soap too. THIS is the TRUE, PROVEN way to GET RICH! All you gotta do is help us dig up a Civil War Veteran’s grave… Hope you’d like to join us! TICKETS AVAILABLE HERE.
