KAOH Walking Tours on Hold cause Covid-19 is a bitch!

By oregonhistorian · On April 1, 2020

Hey There Ass Kicker!

Due to the global pandemic, the Oregon Health Authority’s directive, and Governor Brown’s “Stay at Home” edict, we are having to suspend our Kick Ass Oregon History Walking Tours. Thus, the tours on 3/14, 3/15, 4/1, 4/18 and 5/23, 24 and 25 have ALL been canceled.

We are hoping to be able to restart walking tours in the intermediate future. Once the state authorities have given the “thumbs-up,” be sure to check out our Facebook Page for tour dates and tickets, OR you can contact the Resident Historian directly for a PRIVATE TOUR! Groups as low as four people can participate, and still be ensured proper social distancing! Just shoot him an email at oregonhistorian [at] gmail [dot] com and we can set one up once we emerge from our homes.

Local and small businesses are being hit hard by the public health necessities that this global pandemic presents. Please support your favorites during this crisis.

Stay healthy, stay at home, and we hope to see you on a Kick Ass Walking Tour in the future. In the meantime, here’s a podcast about the 1918-1919 influenza pandemic in Portland!
