Weird Astoria 101 – KAOH Happy Hour at the Armory for Astoria Pt. 2!

January 21, 2018 @ 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

  • « Portland Sinful Walking Tour: Shanghaiers, Saloons & Skullduggery
  • Private Walking Tour »

Join Resident Historian Doug Kenck-Crispin, Resident Historian for an evening of Weird Astoria 101. Some of the more strange stories, torrid tales and peculiar parables of this coastal town will be weaved into the age-old yarns of Astorian history. Doug will take you from 1811 through the modern era with some of the most memorable moments that helped make this town one of Oregon’s favorite destinations.

Pay attention- at the end of the program, a pop-quiz will be held, and the highest score will win a pair of tickets to a future production at The Armory. Complimentary beer or wine and snacks will be provided.

And after hearing the lecture, you’ll want to go see Astoria: Part 2, based on the Peter Start book. You can get tickets RIGHT HERE. Use the code HISTORIA for $15 tickets to the Sunday January 21, 7:30 p.m. performance. If you can’t make that performance, the code KICKASS is good for $10 off tickets for the run of “Astoria: Part Two”.

*Promotional code valid on seating areas 1-3 only. Not valid on previously purchased tickets, student tickets or in combination with other discounts. Subject to availability.
