KAOH’s Two Bridges, One Burnside.

By oregonhistorian · On May 28, 2020

May 28th is the Burnside Bridge’s Birthday! Well…, kind of. The second Burnside Bridge was dedicated on May 28th, 1926, so close enough for us! The Resident Historian was curated a collection of common or curious images of Burnside street, and the bridges, from archives across the Pacific Northwest, because we know how much you like to look at Old Timey pictures!

So not sure if it is a podcast, but you should use your earholes and eyeballs and check it out! And a big THANK YOU to Charlie’s Deli and Delivery for helping us out, and all the talented and helpful archivists that help make images like these accessible to the public. THANK YOU ALL, and thank YOU for checking it out! Happy Birthday, Burnside Bridge!
