You ever heard of the classic Oregon movie Sometimes a Great Notion, based on the Ken Kesey novel Sometimes a Great Notion?
Just a few days ago, ADL and DKC took a real long weekend on the central coast, visiting the film sites and drinking spots utilized by the production’s cast and crew. We’ve put together an audio production that is a KAOH self-guided audio tour of these locations – and provides a chance for you to hear some of the stories behind the film. Next, Oregon Film will be showing the movie, a 35mm print, at the Hollywood Theater on September 10th at 7:30pm. It’s not everyday that you get to see Sometimes a Great Notion on the big screen, so be sure to come check it out! More details about the viewing can be found HERE.
