June (and 4th of July-ish) Walking Tours

By oregonhistorian · On June 9, 2018

Come join us on one of our monthly KAOH’s Walking Tour of Portland’s Sinful Past: Shanghaiers, Saloons and Skullduggery! We walk around Old Town and tell stories about saloons and beerhalls and the bullshitening of the Shanghai tunnels, as well as the reality of crimping in Old Timey Portland. Oh – and we talk about gambling and sex-workers too!

Got a history loving Dad type person in your life? Bring him on our Father’s Day Edition of the tour – where DKC will tell you a little about The Father of Oregon, Dr. John McLoughlin. That tour is Saturday June 16th at 4:00pm. The next tour is on June 30th, the Saturday before Independence Day. Tickets are just $18!

AND…. we can do Private Walking and/or Bus Tours if you are so inclined – for as few as groups of 7! And not just on the Seedy Theme – we can do a Historic Portland Rock and Roll Walking Tour, or the Great Flood of 1894 Walking Tour. If you prefer the private motor coach thing, we also offer Bus Tours of Historic Portland Strip Clubs, 420 History of Marijuana in Oregon, or a Lost Treasures of Portland Tour! Perfect for a office party or hosting a big group from out of town! Just shoot us an email at oregonhistorian[at]gmail[dot]com.
