Summer Walking Tours including Great Flood of 1894!

By oregonhistorian · On April 26, 2016

It’s getting warm! What a perfect time to take your visiting friends on a fun, sunny walking tour of Old-Timey Portland!

On June 7th, at 5:00pm, we will celebrate the 122nd anniversary of the great Flood of 1894! We will walk around telling stories from the flood of biblical proportions, and look at historic photos from the event. Then we will stop at many of those exact intersections and look at what has changed up to our Present Portland! This is a tour we just do once a year, and it is tons of fun! Tickets are only $15 and you can get them RIGHT HERE!

And of course, we are offering our regular, mostly monthly “Walking Tour of Portland’s Sinful Past: Shanghaiers, Saloons and Skullduggery” (also know as “Portland’s Naughty Bits!”). We have the June 18th Father’s Day edition and the July 2nd version during the long holiday weekend as well. These are GREAT tours for your visiting family and offer a fun introduction to the city and the region’s past. AND tickets are only $18!

Private tours are always available – for as few as 5 people – just email us for more info – oregonhistorian at gmail dot com!

Come out of your dark little winter hibernation caves and join us for some Oregon History!

You just don't know who you'll bump into on one of our OR History Walking Tours...
