June 7th is the 120th anniversary of The Great Flood, which saw the Willamette River reach it’s record height at 33 feet. And we will have a FREE Field Trip visiting the sites, looking at old photos, and talking about it!

On Saturday, June 7th, 2014, we will meet outside of Kell’s at 1:00PM to begin our trip* (112 SW 2nd). The Field Trip is FREE, and there will be no limited number of spots or pretend tickets or registration form to sign up on. Just show up, and be ready to celebrate a commemoration that happens only once every 120 years!

I think we will stop at a bar – so kids can come on the Field Trip, but not go into the bar. You have to buy your own drinks. PLEASE BRING VALID ID. Oh- and if you are naked and on a bicycle, please feel free to join us. But we will be walking. And many of us will have clothes on. And be sure to check out our CROWD FUNDING CAMPAIGN!!
