Kick Ass Oregon History is pleased to announce another bus tour – this one examining the history of marijuana in Oregon. And we are quite proud to announce that the Cascadia Cruiser will be our chariot for the evening! April 20th, the international day of ganja smoking and celebration, will naturally be the date of the tour!
We will be beginning our evening at The Jack London Bar (underneath the the Rialto Poolroom) at 6:15pm. The Cascadia Cruiser will meet us there, and then ferry us about our fine city, visiting historic weed locations along the way. We will ALSO enjoy some complimentary adult malted beverages while on the bus – just to make sure everyone is in the chill mood, mane…
Highlights of this tour will include:
1) a visit to some serious hippie day locations. Fuckin’ Far Out, Man!
2) a free pint of dank micro-brew at Plew’s Brews in St. Johns – one of our event co-sponsors, at their 3rd Annual 420 Brewers Invitational! THIS is a Kick Ass Event, and YOU will have a front row seat!
3) Discussions about WHY weed is such a cultural phenomenon WHERE we live. Cause it is, man…

Please join us on February 19th at The Jack London Bar at 7:30pm. Resident Historian Doug Kenck-Crispin will tell some uniquely Oregon stories that help demonstrate just how Kick Ass our state truly is! Also on the agenda for the evening:
1) Historians Finn John and Joe Streckert will be stopping by to tell a few of their favorite stories as well,
2) We will reveal the winner of our 2nd Annual Kick Ass Oregon History Diorama contest (there’s still time to enter – but so far, Troy is the man to beat!)
3) We will enjoy cake!! For FREE!!
4) AND we will be closing out the night with the viewing of an important, Oregon cinematic gem. The title is a secret – but you won’t want to miss it!
