In which we learn that Louie Louie really does have swears in it!

A big thank you to our sponsors, Portland Center Stage at the Armory. You should check out their new production, Wild and Reckless; A New Concert Event with Blitzen Trapper. The show runs through April 30th, 2017, and there is a promo code, “KICKASS,” to receive ten dollars off tickets to that show, as well as Lauren Weedman Doesn’t Live Here Anymore. The Armory’s ticketing website is pcs.org.

The FBI’s files on “Louie, Louie” are right here. Neil Young covering that song on KFJC is here. Douglas Perry’s article on Portland in the 1990’s is right here.

A big thank you to Douglas Perry, David Greenwald, Terry Robinett, JB Fisher, and SP Clarke. SP’s history of Portland rock (originally in Two Louies) is a fantastic piece, and Tim Hill’s book on the Crystal was exhaustively helpful. Photo of the piss trough is from Erika, David Ackerman, or urinal dot net.
